Editorial: The Editorial Board decides what written content goes into the magazine. Editors meet weekly to discuss and select written (anonymous) submissions, which are accepted from the general public year round. When a piece is accepted, an editor work closely with the author to guide his/her piece through several revisions. Drafts are presented before the Board for final selection at a separat meeting every few weeks.

Design: Join Tuesday Design Board and be a part of one of Harvard's most innovative magazines! Experiment with design elements in a student magazine featuring artwork and writing. Learn to use programs like Photoshop and InDesign. Be part of a community that is constantly reinventing itself. Bring your own input to the table!

Art: The Tuesday Magazine Art Board consists of Harvard students who are not only intrigued by visual art but feel a strong urge to analyze how it affects people. Our discussions revolve around both aesthetic and concept in visual art, as one of our most difficult issues is weighing the importance of craft versus intent. Often our members are artists who submit their own pieces for publication. In addition to deciding which works of art we would like to publish, the Art Board aims to increase awareness of visual art in our community. We participate in Arts First every year and hold student art auctions once or twice a semester. If you're interested in exploring visual art with other creative and insightful Harvard students, please apply to join our art board.

Business: While Tuesday's soul is composed of art, ideas, and imagination, the magazine's day-to-day survival depends on financial stability. The Business Board is responsible for planning campus events, maintaining ad revenue, fund-raising, and carrying out marketing campaigns. The Business Board also strengthens Tuesday's brand messaging by creating a cohesive year-long marketing campaign, expanding on- and off-campus readership, and developing Tuesday's public service division.
If you would like to "shop" the Business Board, please consider attending their weekly meeting Sunday Feb. 10, 6 p.m. in Kirkland Dining Hall.

Staff Writers: Those interested in creative writing may consider becoming staff writers. Staff writers are the central creative body of our publication. They meet weekly in a workshop-style setting to discuss current creative projects and brainstorm new directions for the literary content of the magazine. They also work closely with members of the editorial board, receiving intensive, one-on-one guidance for revision of their work.
Application Part 1 and Application Part 2 to staffwriting@tuesdaymagazine.org
Staff Illustrators: Staff Illustrators are contributors who work closely with the design board during production to provide illustrations for pieces in the magazine. Get your work published and help make Tuesday Magazine design interesting and appealing!
